Abstract

To investigate the dispersion of air pollution in the area of influence near buildings obstacle resolving prognostic microscale wind field models are used. Using such models, especially in approval procedures, standard requirements should be used. The standard enables to test the properties of such models and has been applied successfully for the evaluation of several microscale wind field models. The present updated version of this standard has been developed facing the enhancements in numerical models and contains some new datasets for comparison.
