1.    The main share of the renewable electric power supply in Germany will be provided by wind power and photovoltaics. Hydro power, geothermal power, solar thermal power and power from biomass will probably have a minor share, but will nevertheless play an important role.

2.
A certain share of the renewable electrical power supply in the future must be imported in order to keep the costs of power generation low and to secure the power supply from renewable energies.

3.    For the heat supply in Germany, the utilization of solar thermal and geothermal power is an important option, which must be promoted reliably by politics and supported by more research and development.

4.
Wind power will be able to cover a major part of the renewable electrical power supply, if the on- and offshore wind power are consistently upgraded, corresponding storage systems are developed and an adequate amount of land area is designated to the use of wind power.
